The Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District proposes to adopt a “negative declaration” stating that Reasonably Available Control Technology rules and documents adopted for the 1997 ozone NAAQS are adequate for the 2008 ozone NAAQS, and that EPA’s Control Techniques Guidelines for the Oil and Natural Gas Industry (for production and pre-distribution equipment) does not apply to any sources in the western Nevada County ozone non-attainment area. The NSAQMD will conduct a two-site public hearing on November 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM at 200 Litton Dr., Ste. 316, Grass Valley, CA 95945 and at 257 East Sierra Street, Unit E, Portola CA 96122.
